Loving the new PDF quote feature in 17 with two exceptions:
We're using indesign to lay out our pdf templates using dynamic text as instructed, however the fields show up as empty when opened in acrobat UNTIL you click on them, afterwhich the Odoo data appears. Also those same fields are editable in acrobat.
We've also tried creating the templates in acrobat to see if it is an indesign issue, but had the same problem.
Obviously we don't want customers to be able to type over parts of the proposal generated by our ERM, and that date needs to be visible from the outset.
What's the solution?
Great question and additionally any tips on open source tools to use to add the dynamic field to the PDF would be appreciated too.
