Hi there, I'm trying to get working time units to work for my case:

  • My time unit is weeks or months. That's not easy, specially for the month as they're not all equal, between 28 an 31 calendar days.
  • I started a project, and chose the time estimation on tasks in days. I create a task estimated to 20 days work, then in the work summary I add a 16 hours time spent on it. Well the "Progress (%)" bar indicates 80%, clearly mixing days and hours.

Any tips on how to get these to work ??

OpenERP uses only one time unit to measure progress in tasks. Task Work also uses 'Days' and compares the sum of all Task Works entered against the 'Planned Time' field and calculates the 'Task Progress' field.
