Hello everyone,
I really need help in this process that is apparently easy, I have some custome modules that I uninstall from my main database because I don't need it and they are not compatible with Odoo16, I uninstall them after I delete and after that I delete from my github repository, the modules are completly eliminate from every part, but when I create the staging branch (without the custom modules) and I upgrade to 16, the process didn't end well becasue the system install my custome module eliminated, I try a lot times to try this works but nothing works, anyone could help me? what am I doing wrong?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Boekhouding
- Voorraad
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Hi,
When trying to upgrade a db from odoo sh, it will always take the backup of production branch, even if the migration is running on the staging. If you think the modules are not needed any more for you, you can delete it from the production in the 15.0 and then run the migration script again.
Or apparently, you can keep the module as it is, and run the upgrade script and then once the migration is done, you can remove the modules from the db and from the repository.
If this doesn't work out well, you can use the upgrade.odoo.com and restore here the database backup from the staging.
Thanks
