I recently watched videos about the newly released Odoo version 19 in Belgium, which include discussions on payroll localization that is increasingly being expanded to other countries.
I have a question: is payroll localization available for Canada in Version 19 or Version 18? If yes, I would appreciate any documentation or support you could share.

As of now, Canadian Payroll is not (yet) supported by default. You can find a list of supported countries here: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/19.0/applications/hr/payroll/payroll_localizations.html
Unfortunately, also OCA's (Odoo Community Association) localization repository for Canada seems orphaned: https://github.com/OCA/l10n-canada/tree/19.0

Currently, Odoo does not offer an official payroll localization for Canada in either Version 18 or Version 19. The supported payroll localizations listed on Odoo’s documentation include countries like Belgium, India, and Indonesia, but Canada is not among them.
Community discussions and user confirmations also indicate that there is no built-in configuration for Canadian payroll features such as T4 forms or ROE reports. However, the Odoo Community Association (OCA) maintains a “payroll” repository on GitHub, which includes general payroll-related modules. These may serve as a foundation for customization, though they do not provide a complete Canadian payroll solution out of the box.

In summary, Canadian payroll must currently be implemented through third-party modules or custom development, as official support from Odoo is not yet available.
