In Odoo 16, If you are using Odoo to sell online (Website) you can remove "Continue Selling " check from Out of Stock in website settings.
The great advantage of an integrated management system is that you can plan!
In the case of a sale of, for example, 11 units of a product where only 10 are in stock, the forecast link gives the complet information about how many could be delivered immediately, as all related transfers/reserves/priorities and with the right settings, is the perfect tool for planning delivery dates and their quantities.
But for the point of sale module?
