one database, 2 domain,

Question

I am pretty new to odoo.
I have created two companies and two websites. What I am noticing is that both websites have the same odoo URL  . I have two separate domains. For one of the domains I have set it up however for the second domain do i still use the same DNS values.

I am confused. If anyone could help me that would be be appreciated..

Yes, you can point same odoo instance to individual domain DNS values.
In odoo, you are required to setup domain for each website. It will work.
We have done one database, 3 companies and 3 websites to point 3 different domains.

Thank you. Both the odoo websites have the same domain address.. Is this right? Eventhough they are made on two different companies and two different websites.
The first website works great. the second website goes to an error.
The domains are on two different domain providers.. but for both fo them I have entered the same DNS values which is the main database . Is this correct or am i doing something wrong. ?
