Hello everyone,
I have a practical question. I would like to switch to Odoo to manage my inventory and create customer invoices without using the accounting part of Odoo. My accountant doesn't want to use Odoo for accounting. In fact, he wants me to export my invoices in XML format so that he can use his own accounting software. Do you think this is possible? Thank you in advance for your information.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Boekhouding
- Voorraad
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Hi,
Yes this is possible in odoo. You can check this documentation explaining the same: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/16.0/applications/finance/accounting/customer_invoices/electronic_invoicing.html
Go to Accounting ‣ Configuration ‣ Journals ‣ Customer Invoices ‣ Advanced Settings ‣ Electronic Invoicing and enable the formats you need for this journal.
Once an electronic invoicing format is enabled, XML documents are generated when clicking on Confirm in documents such as invoices, credit notes, etc. These documents are either visible in the attachment section, or embedded in the PDF.
Thanks

Thank you very much for your response. I can't find "Electronic Invoicing." Here is a screenshot of my options (sorry, it's in French).
