What can be done using Odoo Studio, when using Odoo online (on cloud)? Can we add new fields, create reports and create New Apps? Will these chnages be affected when the new version of Odoo is released?

Hi,
Using the odoo studio, you can add new fields, customize existing fields and customize existing reports and add new reports. Also you can create new apps(ie, new main menu and related functionalities).
When odoo release new versions and if you need to upgrade your database to the new versions, odoo wil migrate this changes also to the higher versions.

Thanks for clarification. I came toknow that 3rd party apps can not be used while on Odoo online (Saas) so wanted to ensure if there are any limitations on use of Studion while uisng Odoo Online.
Odoo Studio should be the same on all versions. It doesn't allow you to add Python code, so it is quite limited compared with 3rd party apps, but that also make it "safe" to run on Odoo Online.
