Hi,
Please check the moves related to the MO are in the Draft or Cancel Stages. Because at the time of MO split, System creates a new MO and New stock move Transfers accordingly.
So In short, you can not split the MO if it's related Stock moves are not in draft or cancel stage.

I was encountering the same issue when trying to split MOs in draft state.
I found the MO has to be in confirmed state for the split function to work, presumably with all related moves in Draft or Cancelled state as per the error message.
