What server are you running? Linux? Windows?
Did you install all the dependencies?
Hi,
you should access to DNS and add into it IP address of your OE server;
with your OE server should run a Apache server; you should declare a virtual server;
In Apache server, in virtual server section of OE you should declare a simple proxy.

Sorry, it is in italian but, Apache statements are language indipendent, so it can help you.
Warning! Do not enable full proxy! Proxy is very weak and you website could be hackered. Use exactly all statements in section "Uso Proxy", as they are in example page; substitute openerp-server.it with your real domain.
