Hi,

I'm setting up odoo, and i'm migrating the current stock valuation into Odoo.

I'm using AVCO and using lots.

From my old system i have the "average cost" per unit, of the current stock. What fields objects do i need to set to have this working?

I can set the "Cost" field on the Product. And i also see a cost field on the stock.lot, which i also can set.

But will this calculate when i'm buying new stock?

To correctly migrate your stock valuation using AVCO in Odoo, follow these steps:

Ensure the "Cost" field on the product template is set with the average cost from your old system.

Set the "Cost" field on the stock.lot to reflect the specific cost of each lot, if applicable.

When purchasing new stock, Odoo will automatically adjust the average cost based on the new purchase price and quantities.

Gonna answer myself.

I think i need to set the Cost on the product.

And then import the inventory Adjustments, to let Odoo calculate the value in in the "Stock Valuation Layers"
