I just install a V14 Community with DEMO data in a local server.
The problem is that I dont see how can I import data for example in contacts.
The Import button next to Create is mising. I go to user preferences and I don have the oprtion to activate Import and export.
Sure that I´m doing something worng but I can get it.... can you help me ? thanks.
Hello Mikel,
The import button has changed, below the search bar, you have the option called favourites. From here you can import your data (documentation).
It is advised that you only use demo data on test databases (just to let you know).

I just started a test database and was attempting to import some records. I'm new to Odoo but I knew that the Import button was in the Favorites menu (interesting place for that...). I came to this thread because it was not present for a while. Is there a specific condition that one must meet for it to appear?
I tried multiple different list pages looking for it. After I found this post I went back and checked again and *poof* there it was.
