I want to keep track of certain Purchase Orders that I create. I want to be able to keep a view where I can see those purchase orders and possibly be reminded of them according to a time I set for them.
Does this functionality exist in Odoo v8?

Just add purchase orders in the joint calendar - https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/9.0/joint_calendar/ - and you may flexibly configure any sort of alarms
How do I add a purchase order to a calendar? I dont have joint calendar because Im not on v9, Im on v8. But I have the calendar app for v8 installed.
