Hello,

I'm looking for the recommanded way to handle products that a store would like to split.

For instance, I'm buying to my supplier a set of 3 baskets for 20 euros.

The 3 baskets are of 3 different sizes, small, mid, large and they each have a different barcode.

I don't want to sell it as a set of 3 but as individual items.

So the small one would cost 10 euros, the mid 15, and the big 20 euros.

How would you handle that, so you can keep your inventory reflecting this kind of product and eventually find out the relation between a product that's been splitted in 3 for reselling ?

Cheers

You could create a KIT BoM for the basket set, PO would be for the KIT, while the receipt would be for 3 individual products. This ensures the split happens on receipt and individual baskets are tracked separately in inventory.

Since the KIT (set of 3) aren't tracked, you would need to set this as a consumable product.
