Hello everyone,
Does anyone know how can I export the stages from my projects in Odoo 12, so that I can import my tasks back into odoo 14, without getting missing record errors?

Thank you, developer mode was indeed what I missed!
In Developer Mode you have access to the Stages from the Projects --> Configuration Menu.
From there you select and export them.

Don't forget, if you are an Odoo Enterprise customer, you don't have to export anything - we upgrade your entire database - projects, tasks, customers, products, etc - and this is included (no additional charge) in the Odoo Enterprise subscription.
