The --no-database-list option is great for not allowing users to see other databases they shouldn't have access to. But... How do you reach the Database Management page while starting the server with this option?? When I click the "Manage Databases" link I get a blank page??

Not smart but effective: restart the odoo server with a correct db-filter

In what situation do you need this functionality? Maybe before you start a specific action: like creating a test database, one must backup production and do a shutdown anyway.

You can use the --db-filter=db option to specify the default database.

But then how I get to any other database?

Hello Luis, before you must take in care this: hide database selection is a security option in this scenario if you need access to database i recommend you use another web instance to manage this.

Answering your question this just dont list your databases in all options, you can clear cache and refresh page.

What do you mean with another web instance?

Run another OpenERP to use it w/o database list option.
