Sometimes it may happen that you need to know in which views a certain field of a model is used.

How can I do that?

Hi,

The other option is to, navigate to same path, Settings -> Technical -> User Interface -> Views keeping the developer mode activated, then in the search bar type the field name which you have to search, and make search inside the View Architecture (before pressing the enter button move the cursor to the bottom and choose the Search View Architecture).

By default when something is typed and entered, odoo will return the views containing the given name. When architecture is selected the search will be done in the code and return the views which contains the inputed key.

Thanks

Even better...by the way, when do you think you could answer my last email? :-)

  1. Activate the developer mode.

  2. Go to "Settings/Technical/User Interface/Views".

  3. Create a Custom Filter: "Arch Blob contains", add field name

  4. Apply Filter
