Hello,

I would like to disable the option for automatic email sending of delivery orders from the Inventory settings. I had previously enabled it and sent a few delivery orders with this setting, but I no longer need it.

I'm using developer mode, and when I uncheck the option and try to save, I get the following error message:

"Invalid fields: Journal"

I don’t understand why this happens, especially since journals are typically linked to accounting, not deliveries.

I checked the Inventory > Configuration > Operation Types, but I couldn’t find any field related to a journal there.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance! I'm on V.18

Update:

I found the source of the problem. It was not actually related to the Inventory module or delivery settings.

The error came from the Accounting configuration: a required journal was missing for tax declaration purposes. Even though I was working on delivery settings, Odoo was preventing me from saving changes because the system needs a journal assigned for VAT declarations.

In French accounting, this is usually a "Miscellaneous" journal (type: Divers) dedicated to VAT, often named "Déclaration TVA" with accounts like 44566, 44571, and 44551 involved.

Once I created and configured the appropriate journal, the issue was resolved.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read!
