Hi,
The garbled output when printing KOTs from Odoo POS, despite a successful IoT Box test print, likely stems from encoding or formatting mismatches. The most common cause is a character encoding issue between Odoo POS and the printer; verify and align the encoding settings on both. Driver problems could also be at fault, so ensure the IoT Box uses a specific, rather than generic, driver for your Epson printer.
Additionally, POS formatting codes might be incompatible, so try raw printing mode or a custom KOT template. Double-check the printer configuration within the IoT Box, ensuring the correct printer type is selected. While less likely, network issues could cause data corruption. Simplify the KOT for testing, check Odoo logs for errors, consult Odoo documentation, and test with another printer to isolate the problem.
Hope it helps
