I have a lot of double variants in my product database for the brand of the product so I want to delete the doubles in bulk.
Did an export of all products with their variants.
Renamed the value for the double variant to 'DOUBLE'
Now I want to delete the records where the value is 'DOUBLE'
But I do not find a filter which gives me these records in order to delete them.
You should be able to search using the search bar:
If DOUBLE is in another field then you can add a custom filter. Then delete or archive the variants you don't need.
But this can be tricky because of the way Odoo handles attributes and variants - as discussed here

Please try to follow this way
Export all products with their variants from Odoo. This will give you a CSV file containing all the product data, including the brand variants. Open the CSV file and find the column that corresponds to the brand variant. Rename the values that are duplicates to 'DOUBLE'. Once you've renamed the double variant values to 'DOUBLE', you can filter the records based on this value. In your excel, use the filtering or sorting feature to display only the records where the variant value is 'DOUBLE'.
After identifying the records to delete, go back to Odoo. Navigate to the product or variant list where you want to delete the duplicates. Use the search or filter functionality within Odoo to display only the variants that correspond to the 'DOUBLE' value for the brand variant. Select the variants that you want to delete, and then delete them from the system.

You don't want to delete the variants (product.product)?
What do you want to delete?
When I filter it that way and delete the record, the product itself will be deleted and not the records that contains the value 'DOUBLE'.
I'd like to add a picture but I do not have enough karma (which is weird that karma is needed to post on a forum as a user of odoo)
