Create Automated Workflow Stock Move - Odoo 10

Question

I wanted to create an automated stock move from one location to another, but I have no idea how to deal with in Odoo. Need some support on:
- setup a workflow in inventory - stock.picking (?)
- automatically start the workflow with python

It would be helpful not to have the full solution, but a hint how to go on.

Thanks a lot for your answer. But I'm looking for something which I start with python and not by a push rule. This python script should also be executable manually maybe by pushing a button or from outside Odoo with an API call.
