Can not find Automatic Accounting in settings for odoo19 (Australia as default)

Trying the demo version of odoo19 (Australia as default).

I have the Sales, Inventory, Purchase, and Accounting apps installed, Developer mode activated, yet, following odoo19's documentation, I still can't find Automatic Accounting.

Accounting app ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings

and in the Stock Valuation section, tick the Automatic Accounting checkbox. Then, click Save.

There's NO stock valuation setting in the Settings menu (see screenshot)

Is anyone else having the same issue?

As i need to have it on the Automatic Accounting so the stock ledger could be set to AP (Goods received not paid) and AR (goods shipped but not invoiced).

Hi,

In the Odoo 19, you go to Product Categories and set the Inventory Valuation field to Perpetual (at invoicing) under each category.

Thank you Cybrosys, as always, you are being so helpful on this forum.

However, the category screen doesn't let me set the 2 accounts:

AP (Goods received not paid) and AR (goods shipped but not invoiced).

v19 is like reversed back to version14 when Anglo Saxson and Automatic Accounting are not selected, however, in v19 now there's not even an option for these, eventhough it's mentioned in their documentation.

This screenshot in the link below is the layout in v18 and similar in v14 when Automatic Accounting are selected, which is exactly how it should be according to their hallucinated documentation for v19. Which is essential for us to do manage our stock ledger in Australia.
