I have read documentation, but could not found solution, so I am asking here. I have PO to a vendor for 50 differnet products. All of them are tracked by lots. I want automaticaly to generate lot numbers for all of the 50 products, instead of entering manually for each product. Lots should be in format like:
Product 1 - 20251208-01
Product 2 - 20251208-02
etc. where 20251208 is year/month/date format.
My questions are:
- Is there easy way such lots to be automaticaly created for each product, when change PO from confirmed to Delivery status?
- If I want to change lots number manually, how can valitate that this lot number is unique? I mean - Product X from today's delivery got this lot number and no other product or even Product X from next delivey, could be able to have same Lot number?

You want to assign lot number to the product after confirm the PO, right?
Hello, I want to avoid manual opening of each product in PO, then generate LOT number, and then move to next one. Current ERP I am using has a button, where it is automaticaly generates lots number when transit from Purchase order to Delivery.
