With an online Odoo subscription, when you add more companies, the plan changes from "Standard" to "Custom".

Is it possible, at least with branches, to remain on the "Standard" plan?

Branches are companies, so it makes sense that it switches you from Standard (which is restricted to one company) to Custom. So it's the name that is a bit confusing, since (as you say) this is a standard feature.

thanks Chris, but it's not really a company, since it doesn't have accounting, that's why the question.

It's a company that shares the same Chart of Accounts, right?

Hi Vanessa, maybe you have a "free-DB" with only one free App?

Odoo's answer considers Branches a custom feature:
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting Odoo support.
Yes, Branches or multi-company are part of the custom subscription. So if you install an extra branch you will be on the custom plan."

I have a standard subscription, single company and I've set up two branches. My plan/subscription hasn't changed. ☺️

thanks Vanessa, the challenge of staying standard on Odoo is getting bigger and bigger instead of the other way around!
