249Startups serves as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship in Sudan. Its mission is to "hack the entrepreneurial ecosystem" by finding innovative solutions and providing exposure to scalable Sudanese startups through the creation of opportunities. 

Core Programs and Initiatives:

• Incubation and Pre-Acceleration: 249Startups offers structured programs that provide startups with the necessary tools, mentorship, and resources to develop and scale their businesses.

• Rhino Investments: In 2022, 249Startups launched Sudan's first equity fund, Rhino Investments, aimed at investing in early-stage startups and SMEs. The fund provides capital, business development support, and aims to create employment opportunities for Sudanese youth.

• Orange Corners Sudan: In partnership with international organizations, 249Startups runs the Orange Corners Sudan program, which offers incubation services, training, and funding opportunities to young entrepreneurs. 

• Research and Policy Advocacy: The organization conducts research to inform policy and advocate for a more conducive environment for startups and SMEs in Sudan.
