Is it possible to merge duplicate contacts in Odoo Online? This has occurred where a customer has purchased something but not created an account, multiple times.
Do I need to have CRM installed?
Either way (CRM needed or not needed), what are the steps for merging duplicate contacts?

1. Select the records that you want to merge
2. From the Action Menu, select "Merge"
3. Verify the ID of the record you want to KEEP matches the ID at the end of the Destination Contact
Yes it is possible. You can goto list view of your contacts. Then select the contacts you want to merge together. And click the action button. There you can find an option to merge selected contacts together. Only one of it stays.
this option is available for system administrators only, how can you give this option to any other users?
Yes, you have to install a app called data cleaning and then you have to set a rule for search especific information.
