Hi,
As a PoS is a physical store, Odoo considers that you have products physically present in store. It means that there is no reservation of products for a PoS order and that Odoo will not stop you from selling in negative quantities.
You can find the level of your stock in the product information in V15 as seen on the picture below. 
If you must check your stock level while making a sale, we advise to use the Sales app.

I think below app is helpful to restrict the selling of those product which is out of stock.

Do you mean when out of stock? That option can be set on the product sales tab (continue selling when out of stock).
Tim, Could you direct me to that option? I am unable to find it.
