Hello bekoinettien
One solution you can use is to set location categories for your locations, this will allow you to set an specific limit (can be volume, weight or packages) to your locations. [in the Odoo Version 18+]
[Inventory app > Configuration > Storage Categories > Create]
Remember that is mandatory to have the locations established in your warehouse and also to set the put away rules to set the specific place where the product will be.
