We have some products that have BoM that goes to a subcontractor and after being manufactured, then back to us again. We want to use the resupply subcontractor button however, after placing the PO, I won't see the resupply button on the components that need to be resupplied for our subcontractor.
Can someone explain what is the reason?

Also, not sure what you mean by resupply button. Is the reference to the check box on inventory tab of a product to enable 'resupply subcontractor on order' route?
