Scale with Odoo 11 POSand POSBox

Question

Hi,
I have a Ohaus Valor 7000 and I'd like to use it with Odoo POS and POSBox.  I linked and the POSBox report me that the scale is connected but I don't see weight in the POS interface.
Is there any way to have a debug of what the POSBox receive from the scale ?  Does anyone have advice on what to modify in the " addons/hw_scale/controller/main.py" ?

Hi,
I tried the modification, it changed something but no reading on Odoo.  Whtn I put something on the scale, I get a message that the scale is off-line at the top of the screen and I get those messages in the POSBox log:
Scale Error: Invalid scale answer, please power-cycle the scale
Cannot parse scale answer ['']
Cannot parse scale answer ['\x84\x84\x85\xe6\x85\x84\x84\x84`\x00\xe2\x84\x87\xa4D\x83\x87\xa4\xf7']
