Hi,


my company is currently relying on an odoo.sh dedicated server for hosting, mostly for the convenient deployment administration.

However, the amount of data that we store is getting out of hand. Especially the multiplication from the number of mandatory backups and staging builds makes growth 6x faster compared to production DB growth.

What are your experiences or recommendations regarding using a 3-party cloud integration?`

Is there a winner between Google and Microsoft within the Odoo-space? I would like to find an app that integrates directly within odoo-"documents" app.

Btw - I think reducing and managing backups more freely should be added to odoo.sh, especially in a dedicated server - situation.

Hey Friendrich! 👋

I noticed your staging environment is using a surprisingly high amount of GB. A colleague solved a similar issue by:

  1. Temporarily moving media files to their local hard drive
  2. Reuploading them to de data base only when pushing to production

Also, you might delete some files:

🔹 Enable developer mode
🔹 On the main dashboard, use the spacebar to open the search bar
🔹 Type "attachments" and select the first option
🔹 Sort files by size and remove unnecessary ones
