I want to try and override the " _triggerDownload "method in the " action_service.js" file for splitting the print of invoices each per invoice ids.

I have tried the override via patch method, but this doesn't seem to be working for me. 

Here is the reference for the patch - 

import { patch } from "@web/core/utils/patch";

import { download } from "@web/core/network/download";

import { actionService } from "@web/webclient/actions/action_service"; // Import the action service


// Patch the action service to override the _triggerDownload method

patch(actionService, 'custom_module_download_patch', {

Hi,


We can use the patching method to override a function without changing the source code.

For example, use the below code as a reference:

/** @odoo-module **/

import { patch } from "@web/core/utils/patch";

import { download } from "@web/core/network/download";

import { actionService } from "@web/webclient/actions/action_service";

patch(actionService.prototype, {    async setup() {

        super.setup(); // By using the super function, we can execute all parent functions along with ours.

    },    _triggerDownload(value){        // you can write your logic here    }

});
