(odoov13)Difference between a datetime and float field.

Question

Hey i have a datetime field named as check_in and a float field which is hour_from. I want to subtract both these field to see how late was my employee.
One field is in hr.attendance and other in resource.calendar. Kindly suggest me how it can be done.
