I'm facing this issue on fresh Odoo [11] - Can not save SEO Meta Description content, and no preview on right side.
I already try out this fix ( https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/2b5bb95d430a8cfb3f6abb982f7402c33cdcc313) - does not solve the problem

Are you using ready made plugin? I recommended you to purchase Odoo SEO Suite App for update the meta details and other SEO related content of their store dynamically. Update details in bulk/page wise.
