The indexing of any website depends on way too many factors. Books have been written and talks have been held about it - a lot.
However, there are some likely cases of why you can't find your website listed in Google search results:
- Your website just went live/online and no Google bot has crawled your website yet. Give it some time and check again later.
- Your website pages are not published (only admin users can see it) or the indexing for the pages in question is set to false. See for example https://www.odoo.com/documentation/18.0/applications/websites/website/structure/seo.html?highlight=seo#prevent-a-page-from-being-indexed (but toggle the switch on in your case, not off, if it isn't already)
You can also try to gain more insights of why your website's pages might not be indexed by utilizing the Google Search Console: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/18.0/applications/websites/website/configuration/google_search_console.html
That usually happens when your website is new or not yet indexed by Google. You might want to check if your site is indexed by searching site:yourdomain.com on Google. If nothing shows up, you’ll need to submit your site to Google Search Console so it can start appearing in results.

Your Odoo website isn’t appearing on Google because it hasn’t been indexed yet. To fix this, make sure indexing isn’t blocked in Odoo settings, submit your sitemap (/sitemap.xml) to Google Search Console, request indexing for your main pages, and optimize SEO titles and descriptions in the Website app. After these steps, Google will usually index and show your site within a few days or weeks.
