We regulary run into a problem where a IOT box does not work anymore.
When visiting the IP address, we get a "502 Bad Gateway" error.
The only solution we have untill now is reflashing the SD card and install it again. This happens every few months. Is there a faster, easier way to fix this? Or even better, not having this problem in the first place?
The SSL certificates works, because we can connect to the IOT box via the Odoo link.
The problem is in the box itself.
Is it possible to fix it via SSH? If so, how? :-)

Same problem here. After every power outage, the IOT box ends up in a Bad gateway error. (And I must reflash the SD card.)
The same problem was on iotbox version 24 and also the current latest 25. 

I am quite disappointed, that the system cannot handle a trivial thing like a hard power reset.

Hello,

I invite you to open a support ticket on the matter at odoo.com/help we will lead a deeper analysis as this is an unexpected behavior.

There is many different reasons which could cause this, but, generally, it is because odoo process running on the IoT crashed, did not started or is updating. An example of a common crash is after an odoo database upgrade as then the IoT code version might mismatch with the installed IoT one.

But note that you will need to have the IoT accessible to generate the IoT password and that it changes at each reboot (or IoT odoo service restarted)

Same problem here, still no solution?


Appears to be only concerning the IOT boxes running image version 23.11, all the other running 23.09 are working fine.
