very good but now if i want this field automatic read value from another field in  account.payment model how i can and second how i can made partner ledger search based on value of it also

Hi,

You can add char fields as columns to the partner ledger by following steps.

    Enable debug mode and then click on the gear icon as shown in the following image

    Click on the add a line in the opened page and add the technical name of the char field in the move line that you need in the Expression Label field and Figure Type as String.

    By This method you can add a string field.
