I've got a problem, as website editor on the website in the Customize menu, I've disabled a option that has that switch button (checkbox like Show Logo, Automatic Footer).
After I disabled it, that option vanished and I cannot get it back. I've tried upgrading the module but it didn't help. The template does not even exist when I look for it under settings views.
The template has the attribute customize_show. How can one re activate such an option that vanished?

Try reinstalling the theme. Go to Website > Configuration > Settings and click on "Choose a theme".
yeah... but that messes up everything you changed. :/ is there no other way?
Which theme are you using?
Take a look at the "affix_top_menu" view and see if the "customize_show" is set to "True". The second line of the contents of "Architecture" should look somewhat like this:
<data inherit_id="website.layout" customize_show="True" name="Affix Top Menu">
had to reinstall to fix it... next time I'll do a database backup before changing something.
