How to freeze/Close analytic accounts so that further purchase/ invoice/ timesheet posting is not possible on a partcular analyt

Question

I had created an analytic account for a project. The project is completed. I need to close that particular analytic account to prevent further posting to that particular account.
I need to prevent showing the particular analytic account/ project in the purchase module and purchase order lines so that the there shall not be any purchase on the closed account.
I need to prevent showing the particular analytic account/ project in time sheet.
I need to prevent any further posting of invoice/cost etc

Raison, have you tried Accounting -> Configuration -> Analytic accounts, there you have a list of all your analytic accounts. Click on the one you'd like to freeze.

It'll open up the form view, click on "Close Contract".
