There is no limit to the length of an Account Code in versions 12, 13 and 14 of Odoo.
Simply use your own numbering conventions:
I do agree with Josep Anton Belchi Riera - be careful about adding dimensions to your Chart - locations, cost centers, projects, customers, etc - this information is best managed via Analytic Accounting.

Well said! The times where you set up different accounts for different partners, taxes or whatever are gone since 50 years, when the first ERP systems came to the market :-)
Go to Settings --> Technical --> Sequences & Identifiers --> Sequences : You can change the "Sequence size" or any other param of any sequence.

In my opinion, he is not asking for this.
He wants to change the lenght of the accounts code e.g. 570000 to 5700000000.

I suggest you to think carefully about this. Do you really need to expand the lenght of your accounts?
Remember that is adviced not to create sub-accounts for every single partner like customers and vendors.
