I am new to Odoo, I see the Customer Statement Report (Standard to Odoo) V18:

The template is not suitable to send to Customer's and I would like to include:
Header> Professional layout with proper Customer Information
Body> The line item amounts don't pull through and it just shows a running balance
Body> No invoice aging
Header> Professional layout that fits on the page
Header> No banking details or payment terms

Could someone please advise me on how I can manage to edit this report so that it can look professional and usable to send to customers?

You can the customer statement report using studio in odoo online, so please refer below youtube video:

Hi Cybrosys,

Do you know whether the customisations to this report via Studio will trigger the "Custom Code Maintenance" fee? We've avoided using Studio for this very reason, as we don't believe formatting changes to a report should be considered "custom code".

If you're using Odoo Online, customization options are limited unless:

  1. You have Studio activated (Enterprise users).
  2. You're exporting to Excel/PDF and adding details manually.
  3. You contact Odoo Support for help with a custom PDF template (available on higher-tier plans).

For Odoo Studio (Enterprise Online) users:

1. Go to:

Settings → Activate Studio → Navigate to Reports → Statement Template

2. Add Fields:

  • Click "Add" and insert fields like due date, reference, or payment terms.
  • You can also include related records like:
    • Invoice lines → Product
    • Invoice lines → Taxes
    • Journal Items → Account

3. Save and Test:

  • Print a sample statement from Customer → Action → Print Statement.
