Create a task in an existing project from sale order

Question

i have a product "A" that appears in the sales order multiple times and im trying to create an automated action the will create a task in the project named "Drawings" for each time that product appears on confirmation of sale order.
so when you click in the project "drawings" you see all the tasks for each product on the sales orders that have product "A" and are linked to there sale order.
ive tried create record but i cant see how to assign that to an existing project.

Hello,
For this you need to create a product as *Service */[Product Type] /and select *Create on Order *as *Task, *and *Project *as *Drawing.*​

This ensure that the created task by Sale Oder should be present in the *same Project* as mentioned below,​

If you want to maintain your SO's Project as Separate, then you can do

This is used to create a *separate project for Each SO, with Drawing project *as their* *reference template,
