Since there are so many different possible combinations and your question does not include data about your system installation, it is not possible to give you exact help instructions.

But here is how I did my Odoo 10 Community to Enterprise update in Ubuntu:

1. Backup the database, backup the system

2. Remove non-Odoo modules which may cause conflicts (perhaps themes, etc)

3. Stop Odoo
   

4. Install Enteprise package: dpkg -i odoo10_nnnn.deb

5. Remove dpkg installed odoo service script, here I use odoo-server service script based on https://github.com/Yenthe666/InstallScript/tree/10.0 which I used to install my setup months ago

6. Update Odoo configuration settings addons path. Add Enterprise addons location as the first path.
   

7. Update Odoo as odoo user: odoo-server -c /etc/odoo-server.conf -u all -d MY-DATABASE

8. Start Odoo

9. Refresh the browser and login

10. Install & configure Enterprise modules
    

After this my installation seems to run as Odoo 10 Enterprise with new user interface. Of course your update process depends on your installation and earlier configurations.
