Hello All,

In Odoo version 17, creating a landing page with the URL example.com/odoo works as expected, displaying the designed landing page. However, in Odoo version 18, attempting to access a landing page with the URL example.com/odoo redirects the user to the backend dashboard instead of the intended landing page. This issue makes it impossible to use /odoo as a URL for a public landing page, which limits the flexibility of website design and could confuse users.

I test it in both odoo online and odoo.sh and got the same behavior.
Is there any solution for this issue or this is a bug in Odoo v18?

As I understand it, this is likely not a bug but a deliberate decision by Odoo to reserve "odoo" as a keyword, resulting in the URL example.com/odoo redirecting to the backend dashboard. As a result, we cannot use example.com/odoo as a landing page. Instead, we can opt for alternatives such as example.com/about-odoo or example.com/what-is-odoo.
