There is no Bill of Material of type manufacture or kit found for the product A. Please define a Bill of Material for this product. But the product mentioned is bought from outside vendor. So BOM cannot be added to the product. What can I do?

If the product is bought, then be sure the 'manufacturing route' for this product or product category is NOT set. You can unselect from the 'inventory' tab on product.
'Manufacturing route' is not set for the product. Only "Buy" route is set for that product, but still the issue continues to rise for me.
When does this error come up? Since this is not manufactured product, MO is likely not created manually
We are generating MO for final product which has raw material and in process material , so we create MakeToOrder to process all child MO for each work process include raw material and if raw material is not available , purchase order will generate.
Since you don't have an associated BOM for this product, this require to flow as raw material. You did confirm that manufacturing route wasn't selected on the product template. Hope the product template has a vendor set-up for this product.
1. Would you know if routes (not only manufacturing) have been applied at product category level or on replenishment (Inventory > Operations > Replenishment)?
2. You can test the route of this product by creating and confirming an SO with only this product on it and check if a RFQ is created.
3. Similarly create individual SOs for all child MO to validate routes bottom up.
4. Is this the only product that is creating this error or there are others as well?
