Hello,could anyone help me please ! i was facing the could not execute command 'lessc' error (i was running odoo 10 from eclipse in windows)   and then after trying to in install less via nodejs the page still not showing up properly and this is what the console shows :

Could you please let us know the command which you use to run Odoo?

To install less in windows:

on Windows,

-  install nodejs

- reboot (to update the PATH)

-  install less using the below command (Open Windows command as Admin):

    npm install -g less

- To check if the less is installed, in windows command write:

Lessc -v

if you got the version, then it's installed.

lessc 3.9.0 (Less Compiler) [JavaScript]

Hello,

Try login as root ( or use sudo) and run 

apt-get install node-less

It worked well for me.

To install less in windows first install node js , then after installing use npm to install less using this command in command prompt :

npm install -g less

if that dose not solve the problem install 3.0.4 lees with less-plugin-clean-css use this command:

npm install -g less@3.0.4 less-plugin-clean-css

in some cases you will need antother package manager like yarn or pnpm.

pnpm install -g less@3.0.4 less-plugin-clean-css

I hope that will fix the problem.

yess lessc is installed, but on the top of the page i m getting 

no-js" argument is deprecated, as inline JavaScript is disabled by default. Use "--js" to enable inline JavaScript (not recommended)

This error occured while compiling the bundle 'web.assets_backend' containing:     - /web/static/lib/bootstrap/less/variables.less
    - /web/static/lib/bootstrap/less/mixins/vendor-prefixes.less
    - /web/static/lib/bootstrap/less/mixins/buttons.less
