Telecel Global is a leading telecommunications service provider specializing in connectivity, applications, and enterprise solutions through its Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) with a strong presence in Africa. Telecel Global previously faced challenges in consolidating financial data across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and managing inter-company transactions. Their system lacked centralized reporting, automation, and integration capabilities, leading to inefficiencies in handling budgets, asset depreciation, multi-currency transactions, and financial auditing. To address these needs, Telecel Global partnered with Azkatech, an Odoo Gold Partner, to implement Odoo ERP. The solution provided a centralized accounting and reporting system for Telecel’s holding company and its operational entities in DRC and Liberia, with tailored modules for accounting, sales, CRM, helpdesk, inventory, procurement, and data analysis. The system enabled seamless integration with Oracle, automated invoice digitization via OCR, ensured compliance with national depreciation models, and provided a structured budget framework with sub-sections per department. By adopting Odoo, Telecel Global successfully digitized its financial operations, streamlined intercompany reporting, and enhanced decision-making capabilities, ensuring scalability for future growth.
