We are currently searching for a highly motivated candidates to
be our Sous Chef at our Buffalo, NY office!
What we expect
This is a 100% onsite role in Buffalo, NY.
As Odoo culinary members, we are tasked with bringing a creative and innovative culinary experience to our team members. We do this by maintaining a consistent quality and presentation in every dish while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation to ensure the health and well-being of our team members.
Responsibilities include preparing all batch recipes according to specifications and assisting chefs in plating and restocking the line, dish out, and salad areas. Cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, wiping tables, sweeping and mopping all floors, and all porter responsibilities.
Schedule: Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
Starting Pay: $18 - $20 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare batch recipes according to kitchen standards and daily prep lists
- Assist with plating, restocking the line, and supporting service areas such as salad and dish-out stations
- Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and proteins as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout the day
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines and protocols
- Stock and organize ingredients in designated storage areas, ensuring items are labeled and rotated properly
- Report any ingredient shortages, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the kitchen team or leadership
- Contribute to the smooth flow of kitchen operations by staying proactive and adaptable
- Perform general porter duties and assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned
