In Odoo 18 , if you need to use materials from a confirmed Manufacturing Order (MO) for another urgent one, first pause or hold the confirmed MO. Then, unreserve its raw materials from the Inventory tab to make them available again. Open the priority MO and click Reserve to assign these materials. Once the priority MO is finished, you can either resume or cancel the held MO, keeping production flow and inventory balanced.

In Odoo 18 , to use raw materials from a confirmed Manufacturing Order (MO) for another priority MO, first open the confirmed MO and place it on hold . Then, go to the Inventory tab and click Unreserve to release its reserved materials. Next, open the priority MO and click Check Availability or Reserve to allocate those materials. After completing the priority MO, you can resume or cancel the original MO as needed, ensuring proper material management and workflow efficiency.

In Odoo 18 (Community or Enterprise), managing raw materials across Manufacturing Orders (MOs) while handling priority shifts can be delicate, but your scenario is definitely manageable.

Put on Hold: Just change the schedule date and maybe Unplan if you use work orders.

Unreserve raw materials on the order where you will not use the material and check availability on the new order. 

If you are using 2-step manufacturing and picking for each manufacturing order (in the picking operation source = manufacturing order), you should change reservation in the picking operation.
