Hi, 

I'm looking for a way to take items out of the inventoy since we use them in the shop but they are not sold. For exemple: glue, nails, glove, knife blades etc.

We want to be able to track the in/out of those items,  so we cannot just make a inventory adjustment, we need to keep track of everything we buy and use or sale.

option 1 - Use Scrap entry for the products and mention the reson for scrap as a internal use and 

Option 2 - Create BOM for the semifinished product for which you are using glue, nails etc.

  • Create an "Internal Use" or "Shop Use" location or journal in your inventory system.
  • Record a stock transfer or consumption from your main inventory to this internal location whenever items are used.
  • This process keeps your inventory levels accurate while also giving you detailed reporting on what's been purchased vs. what's been used internally vs. what's been sold.

This approach provides the transparency and traceability you’re looking for, without losing control over your inventory records.
